I'm an old man. Years ago, this was a hard hobby to get into. We use to have to manufacture and construct our own kits with VERY mixed results. This kit is basically foolproof...follow the step-by-step instruction and you should get more than your investment worth by the time your first cakes are expired (you'll get 2-3 flushes out of them). The old man says "Both Thumbs Up!". Good Growing!
Everything arrived on time and was ALOT of products for what I paid for it. Also the sterilized jars with the grain already in them was a lifesaver for a 1st time grower. Ill definitely be using Midwestgrowkits again in the future for substrate bags next. Thanks for the help and most of all thanks for not being a rip off like most other companies.
I'm new to growing so I decided to buy one of these big boy kits that had everything already, and so far it's made everything easy for me and I haven't had to run around for extra supplies during the grow. However the kit doesn't include vermiculite, you need to get some separately, which I found odd but not too inconveniencing. All in all, a great starter kit for anyone who wants to get started in mycology
