Jars arrived in a timely manor. Shortly after I injected the spores, they became contaminated. Not sure if I did something wrong or if they weren't sterilized properly. Disappointing first try. Didn?t read the guide. Live & learn

These substrate jars come looking like they would not work because t midwest has this down to a science. Their special blend plus the added layer of vermiculite gives a beginner a little room for error bacteria wise.



This is why their so sought after. Out of 20 I have had one fail. That is an outstanding success rate. I’ll always order jars here.

Have never researched before, colonization at day 3!!! Very impressed all 6 jars are showing good! Thanks any newb out there try this it won't let you down use the oven method.
