It’s amazing how well these work but now I understand why everyone in the mycology community stresses using a flow hood. I was using a still air box with about 50% success or less. I have yet to have any contamination with this unit yet it’s incredible.

I don't want to speak too soon, but I've had a 0% contamination rate since using this flow hood. It is the perfect size for everything I do, I was worried it might be too small for my work but it's just right for mycology uses.

I was concerned it may be too small but I have no problem doing all my Agar and grain transfers in this hood. So far no contamination issues or anything to complain about! This unit is solid!

Can't say enough good things about this little flowhood! Looks like they use a CNC machine for the frame! (expensive) and I love the updated switch! So far 100% sucess and zero contams! Plenty of space for anyone that isnt doing commercial growing

So beyond stoked, it really helped me take that next step In mycology working with agar, cloning, making spore prints, spore syringes, spore swabs, liquid cultures, don’t have to worry so much when inoculating(used to do open air and would have to DRENCH the room in Lysol). So far haven’t had any contam with it, and it’s literally the perfect size for all I need right now. Couldn’t say more great things. Also such a super good quality build, very sturdy, but still lightweight enough to move if needed. Oh, and I did the two day shipping option and it definitely came in two days. Such a good price too, I couldn’t find any this size for cheaper.
