    These small elevated platforms were actually created a few years ago on request from our senior lab technician who was always stacking petri dishes to give his arms and wrists a more comfortable working height while performing agar transfers. Then we noticed our techs were using them to place the lid of the master liquid culture jar on, keeping the lid off the table and in the sterile airflow. Since many of our techs use them daily, the folks at Bonsai Filtration have created two different sizes to help with any of the tasks you do in front of a flowhood.
