I am very impressed and satisfied with the Mega Grow Kit so far. Everything was packaged nicely, the directions are high quality and descriptive, and it came in quickly. This is my first time growing mushrooms and it has made everything very simple to understand and follow along with.



I've only completed the first few steps so I can't comment on the fruiting stage equipment, but everything I've looked at appears more than sufficient. I don't know if you can find all of the individual items cheaper elsewhere, but saving all of the time I would have spent researching everything and creating sterile jars makes it more than worth it. They give you everything you need within the correct specifications and it's ready to use as soon as you get it. Seems like it's a bargain for the price.



One thing I'll recommend for first time growers, is to make sure you get enough spores for all of the jars you're getting, if you want to use them all right away. I only had enough for 6 jars (1-1.5cc per jar for those I ordered, and I leaned towards 1.5). It worked out because I'm doing a smaller batch to learn the process, but it is something to keep in mind.



Overall I'm very happy with the kit and I'll be ordering all of my jars and supplies from Midwest in the future.
