The packaging was good and everything came in perfectly. The heating mat worked fine and the jars were in tact. Loving the kit!

So far this grow kit seems great. I did, however, have a challenging time getting the temp zeroed in. I think the liquid graphite heating mat should have a digital thermostat to make the kit truly autonomous. Also a second electrical timer is recommended but not included and the foil on 2 of the substrate jars were not intact (likely from shipping). Other than those small issues I am happy with my purchase.

Just starting out in mycology. I ordered the kit and it has everything to get me started. I ran into the issue of a broken lid on the container and no light socket upon delivery. Contacted midwest through live chat, and they sent me out a new container and light socket. It was here in 5 days. We will be making another order shortly to expand our hobby.

Everything arrived in perfect condition. Very happy with quality. The easiest way to go for a beginner.
