The kit arrived sooner than I expected. Arrived carefully and thoughtfully packed (I loved that the battery was already in the temp/humidity gauge, but reversed-- stored in there but not draining the juice :-) ), with all the items needed (except for spores) to begin incubating and then growing. What a wild and mysterious process, mushroom growing-- I've currently got a damp box full of bumpy fuzzy fungal clouds. The instructions are really thorough and helpful. Fyi, though, the tank heater that came with the kit was a dud. From the get-go, it didn't keep a steady temp, and then it stopped working entirely. From what I read on the world-wide mycelium, though, it seems that these tank heaters can be hit-or-miss commodities. So, I just purchased a different tank heater, a hygger 50W Mini Submersible Digital Display Aquarium Heater, HG-916-50W-- it got very good reviews on aquarium and fishophile sites, and the difference between it and the prior is Day and Night, or Works and Doesn't Work. The hygger was about $20. Nonetheless, I am completely satisfied with my purchase from Midwest Grow Kits. Picking up another heater was easy, a win-win. The Grow Kit, with the accumulated knowledge and insight that inform it, is definitely worth more than what these folks are charging for it.

I purchased the Ultimate Grow Kit from Amazon and when the Thermostat / humidity monitor quit working, I emailed Ultimate Grow Kit company. They asked me for the order number so they could get my shipping address to send me a new one, but when I gave them the order number that I had from Amazon, they said that was interesting because they don't sell their products on Amazon. After a little bit a research, we came to the conclusion that someone was re-selling their products on Amazon, which by the way I paid more for on Amazon because the marked up the price vs what I would have paid for had I bought directly from Midwest Grow Kits. Anyhow, they still sent me a new device without even a question. Excellent customer service and support!
