Product arrived on time, day 7 the jars are half colonized. I want to do this for the rest of my life!

All In all it was great shipping everything was there but my plastic tub was unfortunately broken that is my only complaint

This was my first ever attempt at growing mushrooms. After researching/reviewing other supply kit vendors I chose Midwest Grow Kits purchasing the Simple Kit. My shipment was received very timely and nothing damaged during shipment. Everything I needed to begin my experiment. After reviewing the instructions & videos and following the necessary procedure for inoculation I began.

Noticeable colonization happened after only 3 or 4 days and after two weeks I now have 6 of 6 at about 70% colonization.

For inoculation I used the SAB method inside a still air room.

I give 5 stars for this beginners kit because everything (but spore) is included. Great instructions.

I'll be upgrading my growing chamber system with Midwest Grow Kits. I'm very very pleased!

First timer here. Shrooms are difficult to come by in my area, so I thought I'd see if I could grow them myself. This kit had everything I needed to be successful. Even with losing one cake to contamination after the first flush, my total yield after 3 flushes was about 45 grams (cracker dry). I just ordered 6 more jars to use with my shotgun fruiting chamber. After I complete the process again with this round of jars, I plan on moving on to grain bags for doing bulk spawn. Thanks Midwest for making my shroom growing dreams become a reality!
