Well for a first time cultivator I was incredibly satisfied. I had success with these grain bags. Keep up the good work Midwest!

I used the casing mix with the 5 grain bags and have more mushrooms than I ever dreamt! This is the way to go for good times!

Received my 10 bags of Midwest's 5grain on 9/10/15. Fast shipping and they arrived sterile. I inoculated the bags with 5 different strains (some I have used before on jars with good results) I split them up evenly, 2 bags for each syringe (5cc's per bag) I will say this, some strains I used colonized very quickly (4 weeks) and other strains took longer, almost 7 weeks. I'm not sure why, as they all colonized around the same speed in regular Jars. I had one bag out of 10 that did nothing. It didnt germinate or anything. I re-inoculated it with more spores about 2 weeks later and its now slowly colonizing. This could be a problem with the bag or maybe I didnt shake the syringe enough, im not sure. I now have 9/10 bags ready to go and a few of them already are producing small mushrooms in the bag. I am just waiting on my casing mix from you guys and then I am setting up 5 bulk grows. I will report back soon! Overall,I'm pleased so far!

Grow kits are high quality and pricing seems fair. I did my first experimental grow last year and was successful. I’ve done 2 more since each one more successful than the last. I knew nothing about mushrooms so the training videos/print were super helpful. Delivery was quick and discreet. I’m having fun doing this! 🍄
