I want to start by saying a big thanks to Midwest Grow Kit's customer service. I had some issues with the live culture I purchased. The delivery sat outside my home for a few days while we were out of town. Midwest made it right though, sent me a new culture jar and it worked perfectly! I have also had 100% success with 2 purchases of their 1/2 pint jar substrates.

Fast shipping, arrived sterile & in perfect condition and already have growth after the first day or two.

Would highly recommend, stop spending money on 10ml cultures every grow and bulk up production with these clone jars.

These jars are awesome ! Easily turn 10 cc of spores into hundreds of ccs of germinated live culture. I personally prefer live culture to a regular spore syringes. The colonization rate is way faster and I can produce way more of my favorite strains for cheaper with this jar !

Although I'm sure I could make these myself, I appreciate the convenience of this LC kit. Packed well in its own box, with a large syringe, a magnet bar, external magnet for stirring, alcohol wipe, and the instruction card is very good and high quality. Using LC will mean faster colonization and you can store the unused LC in the fridge for a few months for another inoculation down the road. The cost is well worth it.
