This is the fifth (maybe sixth?) time I've ordered substrate jars from Midwest Grow Kits and I've been very pleased every. single. time. Not only do they arrive really fast, it's obvious that MGK pays close attention to the packaging as I've never experienced even one broken jar. Aside from the physical items they offer, the information and advice they provide is simply priceless. I'm convinced that I have a 100% success rate because MGK is such an awesome company! I am basing this review on the 12 jars we received with our kit. It is pretty obvious we are happy with them, since we ordered 12 more jars! We are new to this "hobby" and have found the jars to be very easy to use. Our single issue that we have is that we end up with a lot of jars. We are not ready to start making our own and until we do, we are going to be collecting these puppies. We would love to be able to send them back (and would pay to do so) so that they can be used again, if possible. Perhaps there is a solid reason that this can't be done and we are missing it. Anyway, awesome jars! We will ABSOLUTELY order them again!

Inoculated 15 of these jars 9.5 months after ordering - way beyond the recommended time. All of them successfully colonized! The jars were stored at room temperature and I used less than 10mL of spore solution (also 9.5 months old). This is my first grow and I'm very pleased with my mega kit, instructions and great customer service. Highly recommend.
