If I could set this up anyone can. The directions were not difficult to follow and the system is well designed. I am very happy that I made this purchase. It makes most everything so much easier particularly if you want to grow in quantity. Since setting it up I have allowed about a week to experiment with it. I have not as yet placed anything in this fruiting chamber so I cannot comment on that. I live in a home that requires air conditioning all the time. I had a slight problem keeping the humidity level up without turning the heater up too. I found after some experimentation how to adjust it but I suggest you take your time and practice with it before you begin growing. All in all this seems like a very good product. It should come with a longer tubing to run from the air pump to the humidifier. Very difficult to fill with water and re-attach to the air pump. I am elderly and have difficulty reaching it with my two bad knees. That is really the only thing I would suggest needs change. You can do that yourself by purchasing a longer tubing and not using the one supplied.
I ordered a 2.0 version in January of 2022 and decided to pick up another and just noticed all the updates! WOW. All the things I would have changed are now done. The lighting is awesome! The continuous LED COB light is amazing! The drip tarp is awesome and the fact it now inlcudes the Monsoon humidifier is icing on the cake. Well worth every penny here!
This was very well done, I would suggest buying a ton of extra zip ties so you can use them for 8 per shelf and then run the lamp and pump exactly how you want them hiding wires. It is a bit to put together, but in the end it does what it says. I am adding a "auto temperature and humidity sensor" that turns on and off power nd humidity made by zoo mate (50) and it turns this into a complete turnkey system. I even put a grow lamp in for my bonsai. I am using this for Bonsai tomatoes and truffles. Seems great
I don't write reviews, but this one had to be done. I was shocked by how easy the setup was with the included guide. Just looking at the kit, I had assumed it would take all day and an engineering degree to set up, but all it took was myself, the kit, and about 2 hours. Everything works like a charm right out of the box and I didn't have to spend a fortune on it. One thing I have to mention is that some of the parts were slightly different from the picture, but the parts that were different were actually upgrades! I am really, really impressed with this!
I am so glad you have a greenhouse style kit now! This is what Ive been waiting for! Just got mine today! Will report back later!
