Perlite Mushroom Substrate

Perlite is a porous volcanic rock used to create humidity in a fruiting chamber. Simply add water and the Perlite will slowly evaporate water evenly over a long time. We use a specific variety of Perlite that is 100% pure. Our Perlite bags contain no artificial plant food that is found in most kinds available at local stores. Perlite for mushrooms will keep them healthy and humid as they grow.

I'm relatively new to the mycology scene and being so leaves one more open to the woes of selecting the wrong vendor for supplies. Wrong because they misrepresented the items, wrong because nothing was sterile, wrong because you've paid too much or wrong because the shipping took so long your wrinkles deepened and motivation all but vanished. I feel like the mushrooms gods have smiled down upon me in the form of MWG. I can't imagine the time, effort, heart ache and pain I've been spared because I found Midwest Grow Kits so early on in my adventure. Make it easy amd myco with midwest grow.

I have ordered this twice bc it is cheap and good quality instead of reusing, sterilizing and drying the old batch every time. No issues with small or contamination, packaging is secure.
