Well I'm 2 weeks into my growing experience and things are looking up, (some jars were broken in shipment.) But Midwest came through like a champ. Inoculated Jars on Saturday and here on Wednesday I have growth in all jars. Was worried I would screw something up but was easier than I imagined. Good product, Good people, Good times...

This is my second time ordering from here and so far I am completely satisfied. I got my order on time. My first order I got the simple kit and everything was a success, and got 5 flushes. So I decided to take it to the next level with the mega kit. I've injected my jars 5 days ago and already seeing mycelium growth. You guys/gals are legit. Thanks.

I'm extremely pleased even though the grow container was broken when i received my grow kit. I could tell it was broke in transit but Midwest asked no questions and replaced it. It was on my doorstep the next day. I will buy from them again. They out did my expectations.

Great kit , I found that it's perfect for 24 jars. Inoculate with oven method no contamination. Dunk after birth.. then roll method works great. I kept my temp under 81 over 76 for incubating jars and fruiting I kept it 74 to 76. Took about 4 weeks to fully colinize. Fruiting was insane I'm on my 3rd flush just dunked and re rolled. And now I bought 4 grain bags and 4 casting bags and 2 tubs going to try bulk grow. I recommend the jars for anyone who is a first timer or experienced.. I found it to work great. Clean and sterile is the key to sucess. Use oven and if light when injecting.. Use if over tub and lid. Excellent products..

So many people say not to buy a kit because it is cheaper to buy things separately and modify them. Well nobody agrees on the right inputs and I'm not a handyman or a carpenter. I wanted one-stop shopping with a guidebook and that is exactly what I got. One part had a manufacturer defect and they offered to replace it. Sure it isn't cheap but you are buying the guides and technical support, not just the equipment. I got what I paid for and I would recommend it to anyone getting started. The only thing I could think to complain about is capacity. Thirty jars isn't really realistic. Some may fail before you fruit but you can only fit 24 (6x4) reasonably. So I recommend sticking with 18 or 24; unless you expect 20% loss on 30. Don't expect a bunch of loss either. The jars are sterilized and will do great if you follow the instructions. If you want to build your own kit at least buy the jars from here.
