I was happy to try this one out and it picks up the stir bar much faster than the black one I have from Amazon. Very easy to use and works like it should!

Great price for a lab stirrer. Glad I picked this up, stirring my Liquid culture jars is now soooo much easier. Nice that it comes with 2 stir bars and a plug! I can't stand when you buy something these days and its only USB. We don't have USB outlets, why not include the adapter too! Anyways, great product that works as it should!

This does a much better job for mixing than u can do with the normal magnet. What you need to do though is start it on the lowest setting and let the magnet catch the center and then you can turn it up. It works great and you can mix for 5-10 min straight with ease and really get liquid cultures to mix great.

Fantastic stir plate. Picks up the stir bar better than others ive used. I had a LC jar that was over colonized and it was able to hold the stir bar in place while it mixed up the mycelium and didnt throw the stir bar to the side.
