Been ordering these jars whenever I feel the need to grow a batch for what seems like 3-4 years now and I am always impressed with how quickly they arrive and the consistent quality over the years! You cant beat the price anywhere really. Ive tried ordering jars with the injection ports but its just not worth the extra money those cost. I always get around 9-11 dry grams per jar. Ive made my own jars last year and its just not worth the time/mess and hassle of gathering all the supplies needed. Thought I owe you guys a review, since this was my 10th order or something like that. Thanks so much! and thanks Jay for the growing advice and putting up with my calls and stupid questions!
The first time I was purchasing the spawn Jars I had no idea who to get them from. I did my research and ended up choosing Midwest. The jars arrived with 3 of them broken...I am 100% sure this was the delivery guys fault as my neighbor said he saw the guy toss the box from the truck to my carport. I emailed Midwest anyway and they immediately sent me 3 more without any delay. It came time for me to purchase some more and I knew where to go this time. I made my order, and had them at my house in just a few days. My first time using them they exceeded my expectations and I am super excited to see how things go this time. This is a superior product from an awesome company.
My first batch of mushrooms was a resounding success. I left my second kit lying around too long and 5 out of the 6 jars got contaminated. Totally my fault. The third batch was just as successful as the first. Awesome product.
I got 6 jars sterilized jars sent to my house for les than 30 total , the time alone that it takes to mix and the right amount of water with grain and verm and sterilize in a pressure cooker is well worth you dont have to worry about contamination because you didnt sterilize, will be ordering from midwest grow kits alot 5 stars!
This is second time ordering 6 Pac substrate jars. The first time was a total success with all jars inoculated fully colonized with healthy mycleum. I just inoculated the second set of jars a few days ago and am hoping for same results.
