I've used UV-C wands before but haven't had a rechargeable that can go anywhere. I've used it all over the house for anything you can't put bleach or Lysol on but still want sterilized, like used books. The only thing it's missing is a pouch which isn't a deal breaker. The controls are fairly intuitive and there's small manual that comes with it. It doesn't take long to charge either.

<p>Just fried a mold spot on a casing grow!! Dark green fuzzy spot died turned black after 5 sessions of holding it there for like 2 minutes! Seems like the mycellium is now growing around the spot and not retreating! Lets hope it doesnt come back now. </p>

Good tool to have. It is the little bit of extra clean that helps when working at home with limited filtration.

This completely saved my grow! I did three 15 minute sessions keeping it at 1/2 inch above the mold. Green mold turned grey and then mycellium took over and now nothing in that spot 48 hours later! Picked this up to add to my oven door method process, which I've had great results from in the past. Contamination can ruin a grow in no time at all, so spending a few more bucks to add another layer of protection was a no brainer.
