So far I have sanitized our keyboards and cell phones, my purse and credit cards, treated the deep mold in crevices in the shower, and where the water leaked in the laundry room that created mold under the cabinetry. And some mold on a window frame. Still to use it to zap our mattresses. But what I bought it for is to use when flying, to sanitize the airplane seats, surfaces, and bathroom. Our masks, too. How did I get along without it?
All good! Your ppl are the best. Whoever packs this stuff...KUDOS!!
I was reading forums about people using UV-C light to act as a "cheap" flowhood to keep a small area sterile, I have been trying to find a way to transfer colonized grain from one jar to another without buying a $1500 Flowhood. I used a glovebox and this UVC light to do it and after some very thorough sealing of my glovebox it worked! I had about 50% success without this light and now I'm getting about 90% sucess! So this thing does work! The only reason I dont give it 5-stars is the batteries only last about 60 mins of use. I guess I could buy rechargable batteries but thats my only complaint!
Title says it all. The lamp wand is built of a decent material. Only took a few days to receive and it was well packed. My only complaint is that the little sucker eats through batteries. I have rechargeable batteries but swapping them out is time consuming (and I am forgetful and lazy.) Maybe a built-in, rechargeable option? I would be willing to pay more.
Very reassuring tool to have around: its stressful when you don't know for two more months whether you did a good enough job back at the beginning. Kinda lightweight and flimsy, but what isn't anymore.
