When it comes to dung-loving mushrooms, I have yet to find a better casing product. Within hours of casing the substrate you can see the mycelium start to spread. Within days, its poking up through and within a week your casing layer is completely colonized and ready to fruit. I would highly recommend this product! (ratio: one 24oz five-grain jar to one bag of casing mix)
Complete success with this and the bulk casting mix .. 50/50 with bulk casting mix has seriously improved my yeild
You really cant get a better quality casing mix in my opinion and I like their original casing but this new code manure casing has given me amazing growth results and surprisingly doeant have a strong odor and is very manageable. I would highly recommend and will be ordering more myself!!!
