The mat performs exactly as advertised. It is also way more steady than the lower water tank, aquarium heater. It also makes it much easier to change the temperature. The only drawback is there are no markings of any kind to let you know what temp you have. You have to turn the dial to adjust, But once you hit the sweet pot, you're good. Like I said I give it 4 stars because it's so much easier to harvest if the tank isn't bobbing up and down. Loses one for the lack of temp settings on control. I have been dealing with this company for a couple of months now and by and large I have been satisfied with every purchase I have made. Great delivery speed. Order on Thursday get it Monday. At least that has been my experience. Good job!

Edit- Before using the heat mat, use a marker or a razor blade to make little lines in the round control knob, then you can easily keep track of where you are at and if it gets moved, you can go back to that sweet spot temp! Duh' Why didnt I think of this earlier!

They heat well

This product works as advertised. I really like the adjustable heat which is critical for optimum growth

The mat works well w a towel over it.

Great product. Just bought a second one to replace one with no temp control.
