I've always just injected spores straight away into my All-in-one bags and normally germintation always takes about 8-9 days. (I have had bags do nothing before after injecting, so this product caught my attention).

I decided to do an experiment. I purchased 3 bags and I had 1 spore syringe left over to use on the bags, instead of injecting 3cc's per bag, I inoculated 2 of these mini jars with about 1-2cc's each and the rest I injected right in the bag. I found a warm place to stash these little jars and incubate them. It took about 6 days and I noticed a tiny bit of something on the bottom of the jar. I shook it up and saw litttle strands of mycelium floating around, cool! Still no signs of growth in the bag. By day 8, I had a small blob floating in the liquid in both jars, I also could see many black specs in the jar too, some were fused with the mycelium, I'm assuming these are just spores that didnt germinate?? Maybe? I still did not see anything in the bag. I decided to wait until day 10 and let the blobs get as big as possible before using it to inject the remaining 2 bags. I sanitized my area, shook the jar up really well and swabbed the port again with alcohol wipe and pulled out about 5-7cc's of this mycelium. I immediately injected into the bag. I did this for both bags, and I could probably inoculate 3-4 more bags with the amount of solution I have, really cool!

Its 2 weeks now (Day 14) and I see a little spot of growth in my spore injected bag and only 2 days after injecting the bags with the liquid culture I had a big half dollar size spot. Now the Liquid culture bags are both exploding in growth. I can see the difference! These little jars are really cool and fun to use. I will come back and leave a full review once I have my final product! Definitely worth the money! If anything, buy these to save yourself some cash on spores! I think next time I am going to inject 10cc's of liquid culture in my bags to really make them go fast!

These little mini jars are nice and easy to use. Self healing port is very thick and really seals itself after removing the needle. I can shake the jar really hard and no liquid comes out. I like how close up you can see all the detail of the progress and germination, its like watching the process under a microscope. I used these to extend the last bit of a few liquid culture syringes I had left over. I literally injected less than 1cc into a jar and 4 days later its doubled in size, these are absolutely a must have for the price you cant beat the money savings on not having to buy more spores or cultures! Brilliant idea and product

  • None i know of
This is my 1st time using LC and my spores had actually gotten frozen partially. 5 days after inoculation you can definitely see a nice white chunk of spore speckled mycelium. Appears to work well
